New Disc Golf Course at Port Mann Park Receives Funding

The City of Surrey has approved funding for a new disc golf course at Port Mann Park (to the North of the Surrey end of the Port Mann Bridge). The course will be built in the 2025 fiscal year, at a cost of just over $2.1 million dollars, according to the five-year plan. This price-tag may seem high at first glance, but makes up less than 1% of Surrey’s major capital program spending.

The budget’s description of the project is as follows:

“3.3.27 Disc Golf at Port Mann Park ($2.1M)
This project is for the design and construction of a disc golf course and supporting
amenities at Port Mann Park. This project is Phase 1 of the long-term development of
this park site.”
